April 24, 2011 – BRIO Tuscan Grille

The group this time hit BRIO Tuscan Grille in SanTan Village. This multi-location restaurant serves Tuscan style cuisine that is tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and the wait staff are professional and helpful. We enjoyed many different dishes but beware, some meals (like the mushroom ravioli) may look on the smaller side but they are rich and filling! The Duetto Toscano (or Tuscan Dips) was delicious as was the Sliced Steak Bruschetta and the Sausage, Pepperoni & Ricotta Flatbread.
We washed it all down with some bottles of Sketchbook Cabernet which was delicious AND uses sustainable growing techniques. WIN, WIN!
For a larger restaurant company, the dishes were surprisingly pricier than you could find at an independent place but the food was good and the company was spectacular. All in all, the evening was quite fun and we enjoyed watching all of the prom kids having their awkward dinner out before the big dance. Ahh…memories…
Until next month, cheers!
